Questions before you download
A few things people ask first.
Is this a vow generator?
No. This is the opposite. Vow generators write the vow for you. This workbook pulls the vow out of you using 21 guided prompts. The whole point is that ChatGPT cannot know that your first date was at the coffee shop on 3rd Avenue at 4pm — but you can.
How long does it take?
About 90 minutes of real work, spread across one weekend. 30 minutes for Story Bank, 20 for Tone Matrix, 30 for the Draft, 10 for the Vow Checker. Most couples do it Saturday morning and Sunday evening.
Does the xlsx open in Google Sheets, or do I need Excel?
Both. The file ships as XLSX. Drop it into Google Drive and Sheets converts it for free in about 10 seconds. Every formula, every cliché check, every word count keeps working. If you already use Excel, just open and go.
Can my partner work on this with me?
Yes — share within your household as much as you like. Many couples fill out the Story Bank separately, then compare answers before doing the Tone Matrix together.
Does this work for vow renewals?
Yes — and the 5-year and 10-year Anniversary memory pages built into the workbook are specifically designed for that. If you are at a 10-year renewal, you can use the workbook to rewrite vows that reflect what marriage actually taught you.
Can I share with the officiant?
Yes. Print one card for yourself, one for your officiant, one for your wedding album. The licence covers your personal wedding use.
What is the return policy on a digital download?
Because the files deliver instantly, refunds are not offered on the download itself. If you cannot open the file or hit a technical issue, email cs@ifshe.com within 24 hours — we will send a fresh copy.
How is this different from the Wedding Budget Tracker?
The Budget Tracker handles the money side of your wedding — multi-currency, multi-contributor, month-by-month cash flow. This Vow Workbook handles the words you will say at the altar. Many couples use both: the tracker for money, the workbook for vows.
Refunds and UK consumer cancellation rights

Why we made this.
Hi, I'm Beck — I run IfShe, a small jewelry studio designing wedding and personalized pieces for couples across the US and UK.
Most of what we make is jewelry. But every so often we run into the same gap our brides are stuck inside — a part of wedding planning that no tool seems to do well for the modern couple. So we sit down with a few of those brides and build the thing we wished they'd had a year earlier.
This is one of those builds. Made carefully, in the same studio voice as the jewelry, so that everything you get from us reads like one cohesive whole — from the engagement ring through to the planning tools you'll actually use the week before the wedding.
