  • Moissanite is silicon carbide. Natural moissanite is very rare, so virtually all moissanite in jewellery is lab-grown, including ours.
  • On the Mohs hardness scale, moissanite is rated 9 to 9.5; diamond, at the top of the scale, is 10.
