The vendor scripts use [pet name] placeholders. The backup decision trees address pet-generic scenarios (sick, bolts, aggressive) that apply across species. Horses have one additional logistics layer (transport + tack + handler experience) that the kit doesn't cover in depth — for equestrian weddings, we recommend supplementing with a horse-specific event planner.

Up to 3 pets per file. Pet Profile (Section 1) has 3 slots, Vendor Communication Status board (Tab 3) handles 4 vendors × 3 pets = 12 asks tracked. For 4+ pets, the kit recommends copying the file per pet group (e.g., one file for the two dogs, another for the cat). Most pet-inclusion weddings have 1-2 pets; the 3-pet cap covers ~95% of cases.

Sometimes. The Venue Script (Section 2 Vendor #1) is designed for the common case where a venue says no pets by default but will negotiate for ceremony-only inclusion with a written clause. If your venue is firm — pet allergies among existing staff, religious or cultural prohibition, regulatory restriction — the kit cannot help override that. You'd need a different venue. The kit can help you screen venues at the booking stage with the right questions.

It depends. The Health Pre-flight Checklist (Section 5) includes desensitization steps starting 8 weeks out: crate / carrier desensitization, sound desensitization (music genre playing low during meals), outfit / leash trial. If your pet is reactive to crowds, loud sounds, or strangers, work with a trainer in parallel. The kit gives logistics structure, not behavioral training. Some pets are not good wedding candidates — and the kit's first piece of advice in the Honesty Box is: if you'll only use this as decoration, an Etsy outfit guide will serve you better.

Yes. The PDF and spreadsheet are downloaded directly to your device. Nothing is synced to any cloud, nothing is emailed to ifshe, nothing is analyzed. Pet contact info, vet records, handler details — all stay on your device.

Many couples use Budget Tracker 8-18 months out, Pet Planner 4-12 weeks out (when vendor confirmations and handler hiring is due), and the day-of tools (timeline, handler briefing, backup trees) in the final 2 weeks.

No. We're explicit about this in the Liability Disclaimer (P3) and the FAQ: this kit provides planning framework — vendor scripts, decision trees, handler briefing templates. It does not guarantee pet safety or pet behavior. The 7 Backup Decision Trees are first-5-minute starting points. When in doubt, prioritize pet safety and contact your emergency vet immediately. Pet wellbeing is the priority; the wedding will continue with or without the pet portion.

Yes. The vendor scripts are written gender-neutral and family-structure-neutral. Partner not fiance, your wedding not the bride's day. Family scenarios in the Backup Decision Trees and Health Pre-flight don't assume traditional household structure. Pet inclusion is independent of the family structure of the wedding.
