Most gemstone studs hide the stone behind metal. This one does the opposite - the moss agate is cut as a flat double point crystal, tip up and tip down, and left wide open so you can read the green filaments running through it.
Two slim pave bars cross the middle of each slab, one above the other, with bare stone showing in the gap between them. Every bar runs a little wider than the stone so its squared ends catch the light past the edges. The whole stud is 11 x 7.1 mm - architectural up close, quiet from across a room - in polished 925 sterling silver.
