One marquise stone, set sideways across a fine cable chain, sitting just below the wrist bone. Nothing else on the chain - the stone is the whole design, and at 4 x 8 mm it reads as a bright sliver rather than a bead.
The setting holds the stone at its two points, so both long faces stay open and the facets catch light from either side. The chain runs 16 cm with a 3 cm extender, so it can sit close or loose.
