Personalised Photo Jewellery

Personalised photo jewellery hides your chosen photograph inside an elegant everyday piece. A tiny projection lens sits in the pendant or charm; hold it up to the light and the image appears in miniature, perfectly clear. The collection covers projection necklaces, photo bracelets for women and men, and engraved photo lockets — each made to order in stainless steel, copper alloy or 925 sterling silver.

Projection or Locket: Two Ways to Carry a Photo

  • Projection necklaces keep the photo invisible until the lens meets light — discreet from the outside, startlingly detailed up close.
  • Photo lockets open to reveal the picture inside, the traditional keepsake format — see the photo locket necklaces range, including engraved heart designs.
  • Projection bracelets set the lens in a heart, halo, floral or friendship-knot charm — including volcanic stone bead designs made for men.

What Happens After You Upload a Photo

Each piece is made to order from the image you submit — a JPEG or PNG at 500×500 pixels or larger. Your photograph is embedded into the optical lens of the design you choose, so the finished piece looks like ordinary fine jewellery until you reveal it. Because your photo makes the piece, production starts after checkout and personalised items are final sale.

Picking a Picture That Projects Well

Sharp, well-lit photos with one or two clear faces project best; busy group shots lose detail at miniature scale. Crop close to the subject before uploading and avoid heavy filters. For a full walkthrough with examples, read our guide on how to choose the best photo for projection jewellery.

When Photo Jewellery Is the Right Gift

It carries an actual moment, which makes it the go-to for first anniversaries, new parents, long-distance couples and remembrance pieces — a wedding photo, a child's first smile, a much-missed family member. Friendship-knot and braided rope styles keep the same idea light enough for best-friend birthdays too, and men's volcanic stone designs make it one of the few photo gifts a husband or dad will actually wear.

Looking After the Lens and Silver

The image lives inside the lens, so it will not fade the way a printed photo does — but the lens surface can scratch. Take the piece off for sport and showers, clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth, and store it in a pouch to keep the 925 sterling silver bright between wears.

Frequently asked questions

How do I see the photo inside projection jewellery?

Hold the charm close to one eye and look through the lens toward a light source, or shine a phone torch through it to project the image onto a surface. Photographing the lens with your phone camera zoomed in also works well.

What kind of photo do I need to send?

A JPEG or PNG at 500×500 pixels or larger. Sharp, well-lit images with one or two clear faces work best — large group shots lose detail at the miniature scale of the lens.

Will the picture inside fade over time?

No — the image is sealed inside the optical lens rather than printed on the surface, so it does not fade with normal wear. Just keep the lens free of scratches and clean it with a soft, dry cloth.

Is there photo jewellery for men?

Yes. The collection includes photo projection bracelets designed for men, such as volcanic stone bead and braided styles, carrying the same hidden-picture lens in a more masculine finish.

Can I return photo jewellery if I change my mind?

Photo pieces are made to order from your image, so personalised items are final sale. Non-personalised jewellery can be returned within 14 days for a full refund, or up to 60 days for 80% of the item price or an exchange with no deduction (moss agate and moissanite: 14 days only) — check your photo and design choice carefully before ordering.
